Twitch 101: How to engage on our channel
We’ve all mastered the basics of “liking” and “reacting” on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. But we get it, Twitch can be a bit overwhelming with their platform-specific terminology. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered - here are some basic ways to engage with us on our channel!

If you enjoy just watching our stream, please continue doing so! However, the fun comes with the interaction. In order to take part in our chatroom you will need to do a few simple and quick things.

Thats it! Now you are ready to chat with us and take a more interactive approach to the Basic Pitch experience.
Becoming a Subscriber!
On Twitch, following a channel will add us to your follow list and notify you when we are live.
Subscribing is a way to support our show financially by opting-in to regular monthly subscriptions. Subscribers in our channel also get exclusive perks like Sub-only emojis, Sub-only Give-aways, Sub-only events etc. And No ads!
Got Amazon Prime?
Good news! If you have an Amazon Prime you get one free Twitch Subscription every month. We hope it’s us :D!
It’s very easy! All you have to do is make sure you are logged into your Amazon acount and then link your Amazon Prime account to your Twitch account by going HERE. (Go to the top left of the left sidebar)

Cheer us with Bits through chat
Bits emotes are a virtual emotes you can either buy on Twitch or watch an ad to earn free bits. They can be used then to cheer us when you are loving a moment during the show! These bit emotes will appear not only in the chat but also on the screen in real time during the show with a personalized message!
How to Buy Bits or earn Free Bits
Click on the Bits icon that appears in the chat message window, just to the left of the Emoticon button. Then either click Buy to buy bits or
To Earn free Bits
Click the Get Bits button at the bottom of the menu.
If you are eligible to watch an ad for Bits, you will see a button at the top that says Watch Ad. Click this button.
This should launch a short video ad. Watch to completion. Occasionally you may be asked to complete a short survey instead of watching an ad to receive Bits.
When complete, you will get a notification that you have earned Bits. It may take a short while for those Bits to appear in your inventory.
Now you are ready to cheer!
Click the Bits icon in the chat window. Select the Cheermote you wish to use.
Then select the number of Bits you want to use from the menu, or edit the message to type in a custom amount of Bits. Don’t use it all at once ;)
Hit that Donate button
A simple one-time donation can be made through our donate button on our twitch page or under the twitch stream on our website. This will create a personalized message on our stream with a fun assortment of gifs you can choose from :)
